Most Selective Online Colleges | 2012 Edition

Below you will find the top 64 online universities in America sorted by acceptance rate.

These rates represent the latest available calendar year, which is from the Fall of 2010. About of a third of the colleges in this ranking have open admission policies. This means that typically the open requirements for entrance are a high school diploma or a GED. Acceptance rates of open admission colleges were not factored into their overall rankings.

Why we like acceptance rates?
Acceptance rate is the percentage of applicants who were admitted. Colleges with low acceptance rates are considered to be more selective in who can enroll in their college. Open admissions policies can favor those who got their high school diploma or GED several years ago.
