More specifically the statistics below represent the percentage of a school's borrowers who enter repayment on certain Federal Family Education Loan Program or William D. Ford Direct Loan Program loans during a particular fiscal year and default. These rates were for the 2008 fiscal year, the most recently available. The national rate for 2008 was 7.0%.
